Ehemalige Tollitäten erkannten, dass Fischenich dauerhaft eine Gruppe brauchte, die im Notfall Verantwortung übernehmen konnte.
For decades Fischenich Carnival was supported by different clubs, groups and community organisations.
The system worked until 1981, when circumstances meant that the planned Carnival reign could not take place.
Former royalty recognised that Fischenich needed a permanent group capable of stepping in when necessary.
